Keeping knees and hocks clean for shows?

Give him a bath the day before and scrub EVERYTHING and make sure he has clean bedding at night, that way he'll be dry and any dirt he gets will be minimal so you can scrub it off very early the next day. Or you could get up at about 3 in the morning, get down to the yard and give him a bath... it depends on how far you are from the show and how much time your prepared to spend on your horse.
